Jason Taylor crashes his LS powered Mustang hard at the Scenic City Smackdown No Prep race at Brainerd Motorsports Park. The slippery surface is all part of the risk of “no prep drag racing”…it provides wow moments for the spectators, but tough moments for the drivers and crews when mishaps occur.
Jason has been testing, tuning and racing his nitrous assisted LS-swapped Mustang all year, with some wild rides along the way. He is a regular at Brainerd Motorsports Park, and entered the Friday Night CASH DAYS portion of the Scenic City Smackdown No Prep race. In the first round, he lined up against heavy hitter, Jim Brackett in a nitrous big block Camaro. The Mustang launched nicely, but started skating around on the slick surface a couple hundred feet out. He fought the car but crossed the center line and crashed into the wall near the end of the track. Jason escaped the crash with no injuries but the car will need some work.
