Battling rain, wind and chilly conditions, Chuck Seitsinger and his “Death Trap” Mustang along with other Street Outlaws and No Prep Kings managed to put on a great show at RT66 Joliet! Rain all day Friday and into the night with cold temps plus high winds led to a very sketchy track surface late at night and Saturday wasn’t a whole lot better but at least there wasn’t rain in the forecast. Chuck the man with the plan, not only raced in the invitational but was co host on the mic along with Chris “Boosted GT” Hamilton keeping the crowd entertained during rounds. In a grudge race Chuck takes on Amarillo Mike’s Dragula and Chuck hangs the hides past the tree blowing past the Dragula with ease! After the starting ceremonies Chuck draws his 405 buddy Joe “Dominator” Woods in the first round of the $40,000 winner take all 32 Car Invitational Event. Chuck once again, power wheelstands past the tree for the win as Dominator in what appeared to be a cooling issue gets out of it. On to the second round Chuck draws another twin turbo mustang the Boosted Ego piloted by Eric Bain. Boosted Ego leaves Chuck sleeping at the line as he wheelies well past the tree but comes down and wheelies up again and has to lift allowing the Death Trap to power on to the win in an awesome race! Third round finds Chuck against Brent Austin’s procharged Megalodon camaro! Chuck sends it again past the tree but gets out gets out of shape crossing the center line as Megalodon powers on to victory and into the next round. Chuck really put on quite the show with that little small block ford! Sept. 7-8, 2018 RT66 Joliet.
